Polly Morgan
A taxidermist by chance, Morgan has been creating her macabre and slightly dark sculptural work since 2004, when she decided that she would like a piece for her home but could find nothing that appealed to her sensibilities. So she decided to embark on a day course in the art of taxidermy and the rest is, as they say, history. Her work, she feels, “seems to appeal to lots of people who wouldn’t necessarily buy art or have thousands and thousands of pounds. I like the fact that lots of people can buy it and not just very wealthy people.”
